With Tigger as our mascot we value zest for life, tenacity, individuality, and great courage, taking everything in our stride.
As Tigger once said, “Life is not about how fast you run or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.” Bouncing at extreme heights has its consequences, particularly if you are a Tigger, who has a huge fear of heights. No matter what comes our way, iKhalans are not deterred by new challenges or our fears: we seize every opportunity that comes our way with enthusiasm, positivity and bounce. To us orange is not just a colour, it represents Tigger zest and warmth – characteristics we wish to be known by. As seen in our emblem, together, we bounce to new heights together.
“My tutor group is my home away from home. I’m so grateful and proud to be a part of my mini iKhala family. I love spending time with my tutor group friends and teacher. Tutor is where I am able to relax and have fun. Sometimes we even play games! My tutor group means so much to me and I couldn’t have asked to be put in a better tutor group.”
– Catherine Wills
