Based on the 2003 film, School of Rock tells the story of Dewey Finn, a struggling rock star. Facing eviction, Dewey seizes an opportunity when he pretends to be his roommate and becomes a substitute teacher at a prestigious school. Shocked by the students’ lack of knowledge about rock music, he takes it upon himself to educate them. Realizing their talent, Dewey forms a rock band with the students, aiming to win the Battle of the Bands competition. While evading the school’s principal, Dewey discovers love, self-worth, a real job, and teaches the beauty of rock to the children and their parents.
