Yesterday, 17 October we celebrated the official induction of the 2023/4 leaders, as the staff, students, and parents gathered in the Aileen Currie Hall. This event holds great significance for the young leaders, who are the seniors of the school.
The proceedings commenced with the incoming leaders, outgoing leaders, grade 11s, and parents attentively listening to an inspiring and thought provoking speech by Dr. Wallace. Surprisingly, the speech delved into the leadership lessons one can derive from the Barbie movie.
The school council members, hostel leaders, matric leaders, and RCL were formally sworn into their respective offices, receiving their badges and scrolls as symbols of their positions. The ceremony concluded with uplifting remarks from the newly appointed Head of School, Shafeefa Orrie.
