Today, we were thrilled to witness a special milestone in our school’s sustainability journey as we harvested our very first potatoes from our thriving veggie garden. We couldn’t resist sharing the excitement that shone from our learners who likened the harvest to a “treasure hunt”! In addition to the delightful potatoes, our garden has also blessed us with beautiful lettuce bunches and leeks. The proudly fresh and organic veggies were made available to staff for purchase with a simple yet heartwarming concept: “take what you need, give what you can.”
