Last term all Gr 8 – 11 learners wrote the SACEE Language Challenge, and although we already know the individual scores of learners, we recently received some additional wonderful news. From the many schools across the country who competed, seven WGHS learners have won cash prizes for placing in the top 3 in their respective grade.

The following learners scored between 95% – 100% and therefore placed in the top 3:

Mia Duk (Grade 8): 3rd

Ana Potter (Grade 9): 3rd

The following Grade 10s tied for second place:

Hannah Hill

Kendre Hetherington

Niave Hutton

In Grade 11

Kezia Dantu: 3rd

and

Lunabile Veto: 1st (with a score of 100%)

Congratulations to these learners!
